Flash forward to wedding planning season, when Josh and I bought our first "fancy camera" as a wedding present to ourselves so we could get "good pictures" on our honeymoon. I tinkered with it here and there, but realized very quickly that just having a nice camera doesn't make a good photograph. I got really serious about learning photography when Mia was born. Time ticked by soooooo slowly in those early days at home, but at the same time, flew by so fast I can barely remember it! Once I saw how I could freeze those moments in a beautiful way to always look back on them, I was hooked. Now I want to do the same for you!

As the oldest of four, I was always surrounded by kids, and knew that eventually I wanted to work with babies and kids in some way. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Child Development from Tufts University, and went on to work in a daycare and gain my Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Teacher certification. I believe this and my current title of "mama" gives me a unique ability to connect with your kiddos, as well as the patience needed to understand and adapt to things not always going as planned ;)
